Western Railway Recruitment 2024: Application Fees and How to Apply
Application Fees
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- is applicable.
SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants are exempt from paying the application fee.
How to Apply Online
Complete the Online Application: Visit the official RRC/WR website at https://www.rrc-wr.com and accurately fill out all sections of the online application form.
Online Fee Payment: After verifying the accuracy of your application, proceed to make the fee payment (if applicable) through the integrated payment gateway. No changes or edits to the application will be allowed after fee payment.
Payment Options: Payment can be made using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or other available options. Please note that any transaction charges levied by the payment gateway will be borne by the applicant.
Application Confirmation: Once the payment is successful, you will be redirected to the RRC/WR website to complete the application process and download the filled application form.
Payment Verification: If you encounter any issues downloading the application form after a successful payment deduction, click on the "Verify Payment" button on the payment gateway to reconfirm your transaction.
Unsuccessful Transactions: If your online transaction fails after completing the registration process, please log in again and retry the payment. In case of duplicate payments, refunds will be processed after verification.
Important Instructions for Online Application
Carefully Fill in Details: Provide accurate personal details, trade selection, Aadhaar number, marks/CGPA, and preferred division/workshop. The computerized merit list will be generated solely based on the information provided in your online application. Any discrepancies found during document verification will result in disqualification.
Aadhaar Card Requirement: Applicants must possess an Aadhaar Card. Provide the 12-digit Aadhaar number during registration. If you haven't received your Aadhaar Card yet but have enrolled, enter the 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID printed on your enrolment slip.
Alternate ID Proof (Specific States): Applicants from Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, and Assam can use their Voter ID, valid Passport, Driving License, or any other valid government-issued ID as proof. However, you must produce the original document during document verification.
Matching Information: Ensure your name, father's name, and date of birth exactly match the details on your Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any deviations found during document verification will lead to cancellation of your candidature and potential debarment.
Active Contact Information: Provide an active mobile number and valid email ID in your online application, and keep them active throughout the recruitment process. Important messages, including calls for document verification, will be communicated through email and SMS. It will be assumed that you have read all communication sent to these contact details.
Single Division/Workshop Selection: You can only choose one division/workshop for your apprenticeship. Your choice is final and binding. Refer to the Trade-wise Vacancy Table (Annexure A) in the official notification to ensure that your preferred division/workshop has vacancies for your trade, qualification, community, and category.
Multiple Trade Applications: Applicants with ITI qualifications in more than one trade can apply for each relevant trade separately.
Multiple Applications Warning: Submitting multiple applications for the same trade with different information (name, father's name, community, PWD status, educational/technical qualification, email ID, mobile number, etc.) will lead to the rejection of all such applications.
Printout of Application: Download and print a copy of your submitted online application form. You will need to produce this printout when required by the Railway Administration.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification at the concerned division/workshop/unit with original documents and the Medical Fitness Certificate (Annexure G).
EWS Certificate Upload: Applicants claiming reservation under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota must upload their EWS Certificate as specified in the official notification.
